Makeup Must Haves

Everyone that knows me knows that I am a little obsessed with makeup :)My absolute must have is my beauty blender ball sponge, which is not pictured below. It not only makes my makeup lasts longer, but I notice I don't have to use as much foundation to get an even and light layer on my face.  Below are a few products that I am currently loving and use on a daily basis.

Casual Fridays OOTD

Happy Friday!  Friday's at work mean casual wear for my workplace.  This  usually consists of a blouse and jeans.  Today I wore a black and beige cascade blazer that I purchased from Boutiquetoyou.com, paired with a F21 tank, and Jbrand skinny jeans (my favorite jeans of all times!)

I am currently obsessed with the Rebecca Minkoff Beckly Blazer. Recently, I've been a little sick of  the plain old black blazer ( however, I always seem to be buying more black!) , and looking to add some color and pattern to my wardrobe.  I'm looking for some cheaper alternatives, but I love the cut, colors, and patterns this blazer comes in!

Summer Weddings

Summertime is always filled with lots of weddings! Which, means thinking about what you're going to wear. I'm going to be attending a wedding in Northern California next week, and I'm still trying to decide on what to wear. I'm hoping the weather will cooperate and not be too chilly. Below are a few of my favorite dresses..I'm thinking of either wearing the Aiden Mattox blue dress, Joie Rori dress, or the Paper Crown Monet Dress. I'm also loving the Marchesa Notte Dress shown below in a beautiful blush pink.

Nude Pumps

Like most people, I've had a super hard time finding the perfect pair of nude pumps.  I think I've finally found a pair that hopefully I will love!  Today I purchased the Brian Atwood Maniac Pumps online.  I've heard some great reviews on them, so I decided to finally take the plunge.

Once they arrive, I'll do a more detail review on the shoes!

Below are some celebrities that have rocked the shoe! I love how versatile it is!

Work OOTD

Happy Wednesday! I hope you are all having a fabulous week.  I've been watching the Olympics till midnight, and waking up early for work.  But it's totally been worth it!  The USA women's gymnastics team was amazing!!

Here is my work outfit of the day!  I absolutely love my Parker wrap dress.  I got this dress on sale at Saks awhile back and have worn it numerous of times.  I think the print I have is sold out, but you can get a similar dress below.  I paired the dress with my cute Missoni for Target heels. I've also been rocking the side braid. since my bangs have gotten way to long!!

Flowergirls!

I've been thinking of ways to cut down costs for me and my FI's wedding.  It seems like you never really understand how expensive a wedding is..until you have to plan your own!  I was slightly surprised how expensive flowers were..so my florist suggested that I purchase fake silk flower balls for my two flowergirls. Something they could keep after the wedding, and..it would only cost me around $20.

This is an option that I found on Etsy, which I thought was super adorable, they even have elegant crystals on them!  The seller has these in several different colors.  I'm thinking of getting mine with a ivory ribbon on it, instead of pink.

Details Details Details!!

Lets be real, wedding planning is super overwhelming  Nowadays, it seems like the details are EVERYTHING.  The first thing my bridesmaids asked me was..what are your colors?  I remember thinking..colors?  Hmm I don't know..I want to keep it neutral.  And then my bridesmaid said..neutral..there are a lot of neutral colors.  When I met up with my wedding planner she had me narrow down my choices of "neutral" colors to three.  I chose two accent colors (gold and ivory) and one main color ( blush).

I'm using gold chivari chairs as an accent, ivory table linens..and my flowers and lighting will be in blush.  I'm going for a romantic and warm feel.

Here are a few inspiration pictures that I am loving!

I would love to hear from other brides to be out there :)
