Summer Weddings

Summertime is always filled with lots of weddings! Which, means thinking about what you're going to wear. I'm going to be attending a wedding in Northern California next week, and I'm still trying to decide on what to wear. I'm hoping the weather will cooperate and not be too chilly. Below are a few of my favorite dresses..I'm thinking of either wearing the Aiden Mattox blue dress, Joie Rori dress, or the Paper Crown Monet Dress. I'm also loving the Marchesa Notte Dress shown below in a beautiful blush pink.

Flowergirls!

I've been thinking of ways to cut down costs for me and my FI's wedding.  It seems like you never really understand how expensive a wedding is..until you have to plan your own!  I was slightly surprised how expensive flowers were..so my florist suggested that I purchase fake silk flower balls for my two flowergirls. Something they could keep after the wedding, and..it would only cost me around $20.

This is an option that I found on Etsy, which I thought was super adorable, they even have elegant crystals on them!  The seller has these in several different colors.  I'm thinking of getting mine with a ivory ribbon on it, instead of pink.

Details Details Details!!

Lets be real, wedding planning is super overwhelming  Nowadays, it seems like the details are EVERYTHING.  The first thing my bridesmaids asked me was..what are your colors?  I remember thinking..colors?  Hmm I don't know..I want to keep it neutral.  And then my bridesmaid said..neutral..there are a lot of neutral colors.  When I met up with my wedding planner she had me narrow down my choices of "neutral" colors to three.  I chose two accent colors (gold and ivory) and one main color ( blush).

I'm using gold chivari chairs as an accent, ivory table linens..and my flowers and lighting will be in blush.  I'm going for a romantic and warm feel.

Here are a few inspiration pictures that I am loving!

I would love to hear from other brides to be out there :)

Cynthia
